I want to put on wider rims and tires on my 76 vette what is the widest I can go? The body is stock what offset can i use to accommodate a wider tires? I would like to run 50's on the rear and 60's on the front. Any thoughts?
I know that i ran a p275/ 60 rear on my 75 and p245/60r15 keep in mind the 50vs60 is the aspect hieght ratio of the tires size the p number refers to with.My current 74 has the same size all around P245/60R15 stock rally wheels no extra offset required no rubbing. As I mentioned you can go up to a 275 on the back but i wouldnt go wider than 245 on the front cheers
...keep in mind the 50vs60 is the aspect hieght ratio of the tires size the p number refers to with...
The P indicates the tire was designed for use on a passenger car. 275 indicates the tread width in millimeters. 50/60 is the aspect ratio of the side wall compared to the tread width. The remaining number would be wheel diameter.
