I'm thinking of switching to these with 235/60-16 tires. Anybody have pics? Please post pics of C3s with 16x8 TT Ds only. I have already seen plenty of TT IIs.

Hey KV, there is a long term CF member around here (for the life of me) can' remember his name (but, I will) whom has 16" TT II. The reason I know this... I asked for his info at the time I was lookn' for TT II's when I purchased mine 5 years ago. The 16" look very good and I belive the one's I'm thinking about are also 60 profile as well!

BTW: Noticed your in SC...kool, Have you seen our link? http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c3-g...se-2013-a.html Very kool GTG and great bunch of guys!

EDIT: I belive the CF avatar name is "Judghead" or jughead, regarding the 16's.

Thanks Muddy, yeah Jughead has 16x8 TT IIs but I'm looking for some pics of the TT Ds, same size.

Here is Jughead's with 255-50-16 tires

The cruise sounds like a lot of fun but I'm not sure if I will have the Vette ready.

16" wheels look good on these. kinda the old school look, but not really outdated looking like the stock 15" wheels.

Your thread is very timely for me as I am also looking at this exact setup. I have not yet found a tire I want, so that is partly why I have not already ordered anything. Plus I want to make sure everything fits ok on my 68; clearances, fender gap, etc. Also hoping I would not feel compelled to paint calipers and change out rotors because they would now be more visible!

I kind of like the BFG raised white letter Radial TA tire with the TT-D rims, but it seemingly does not come in that tire size. I saw a correctly sized cool tread pattern blackwall Sumitomo HTRZ-II tire, but the tire quality may be suspect and perhaps that tread design is too 'modern' for the TT-D rims? Most available tires seem to be pure summer or grand touring all season (as opposed to perhaps a performance all season), but I love the look of 16s and TT-D!!
