I removed a rear set of Bilstein shocks from a 1976 chassis. They still have pressure in both direction and take some good force by hand. They seem to be in pretty good shape. However the lower bushing is worn.. Anyway, my main question is if they can be identified (HD or Sport / Age) by the only number I can find which is stamped on the base of the tube. It is;
3380232H0000
I googled and came up with nothing. Went to Bilstein's website and typed it in which resulted in nothing. I plan to call Bilstein to see what they can tell me, but am working nights and sleeping all day so might be a while until I get a chance.
Secondary question - can the lower bushing be replaced?
