Default Looking and have a question.

There is a 72 454 4 Speed close to me that is a non stock color but is numbers matching and un-restored.

He is asking $25k. Assuming it's not rusted and everything works does that sound like a normal priced car?

Ebay seems to have so many over priced cars that it's hard to tell.

Hagerty shows $16K to $30K.

Coupe + $10k repaint = too much.

For that kind of bread, I would hire an expert to check out the car for sure. Nice looking car, though.

I think you should be able to pick it up for between 18 and 20.
Looks like a real nice car, but always , always , always have someone who knows these cars look at it for you, they do not (outwardly) rust and many things can be going wrong underneath that pretty skin.
Best of luck.

Being in CA I don't see $18 to $20. Seems everything is in the thirties.

I love the red one here but $$$

I plan to attend the next NCRS event and go from there.

I don't need a number matching car, I'd just like one that's very clean and well cared for.
I plan on making changes anyway as time goes on. VBP kind of stuff.

Not if the seller won't part with it for that.

That would be a fair price where i live in Canada where any decent chrome bumper small block will still fetch close to 20,000 and a big block four speed closer to 30,000 all depends on how bad the economy is where you live
