C3 Door Panel question
What was the first year that a C3 had manual remote outside mirrors? I have a c3 driver door panel with a factory hole and chrome insert for an outside remote mirror. Someon told me it could be as early as 1971 but I don't think they are correct.

Fairly certain 1978 was the beginning. Definitely not prior to 1977 (first year of sport mirror option). 1968-1976 had only a driver's side chrome mirror that was not adjustable from inside the car...a matching passenger side mirror was available as a dealer installed option.
