Remote Hood Opener Options?
I'd like to know if anyone out there has eliminated the traditional hood latches and cable system opener on their C3? I've seen C2's with a Dakota Digital Linear Actuator that operated with a remote, but I've never seen anyone use it with a C3 hood. Specifically, I'm wondering if one linear actuator mounted on one side of the firewall will close the hood without the other side sticking up or not closed completely. It seems like the C2 hoods are a little more rigid than the C3, which might make closing the C3 hood a problem with this system.
