Default Stupid question...

But where's the fuel filter on a 78 Vette? I can't imagine that the previous, rather ingorant, owner ever changed it. Therefore I come to the wise ones and ask for advice! Thanks in advance!

I'm not positive on a 78, but there should be a filter where the fuel line goes into the carb. It is in the carb so you won't see it until you take off the line.

If it's a quadrajet carb, the fuel line going into the carb screws into a large fitting that is screwed into the carb body. The fuel filter is held in by that large fitting. Make sure you pay attention to the direction the fuel filter is installed so you can install the new one correctly.

Be careful. When calling someone names, make sure you spell it right. In this case even more so.
