Sidepipe mufflers
Hello, new owner with questions, 74 BB with sidepipes. 4". The inserts are a spiral design and are at least 10 years ols so its not the new stuff.
Are these considered very good?
Car has been built up quite a bit and done very nicely.

That's a Reverse Flow Hooker glasspack. Super restrictive and fairly quiet. On a big block you're probably loosing 75-100 horsepower. The hole is 1 3/4" diameter I would get those out asap.
I tried several and ended up with the Vette Pack from Classic Chambered Exhaust. He built one for my car and now he has added them to his line up of corvette inserts and they are selling well from what I hear.
