82nd Collector Edition Paint Codes
Does anyone know the paint codes for the 82nd Collector Edition? I think the body color is "59" (correct me if I'm wrong) but can't find the code for the stripes. I know they are decals, but a customer wants to try and use touch up paint to fix a tear before he spends $1200 on new decals. Thanks.

There is no paint code for decals. All the CEs were painted champagne beige, then the grahics were applied. Hood and doors are decals; the remainder are tape stripes. Can you scan the decal and possibly come up with a color?

FWIW: Paint code "59" in 1978-1981 has very different appearance than paint code "59" in 1982. (light beige/frost beige vs silver beige metallic).

I know they are decals. But the customer has a tear on the side door decal where an animal jumped up on his car. He was hoping to try touch up before having to shell out the money for new decals. But I'm thinking thats what I'll have to do is send him to a paint shop to have the decal shot. Just thought I would try to save him some running around.
