Default 72 Vintage Air installation help

I'm in the process of installing a vintage air Gen IV kit while waiting for my engine and transmission rebuild on my '72. The installation overall is going very well. I'm wondering if anyone has any advice for routing the hoses? Everything is getting extremely tight behind the dash and I still have to run the hoses for the center console. I am using the original center vents from an original AC car so it seems to get even tighter with the defroster ducts. Here's a picture with where I'm at so far. For the driver side Vintage air supplied a plastic tube that bolts under the steering column.

Thanks!

I installed a VA system last year and actually had more trouble with the hose going to the passenger side vent than anywhere else. The center hoses just need to be neat behind the console. You can try to flatten them some using a blow dryer to heat them up. I felt the hoses were kind of loose on the vents so I used tie wraps to hold them on better. In the end, I promise you are going to like the system. Good luck.

I also installed Vintage Air in my 73 as the other one said it is a tight fit but you just have to move the ducts around,The most trouble I had was putting the gauge cluster back in place needed another set of hands, and not having a factory radio helped too. When it's all finished you'll love it.Good Luck

the passenger vent hose can be routed frontwards from the box towards the firewall run along between the firewall & the box and then looped up & over the top crossing over where the computer is located vs looping the hose up and over all the servo's. There is a LOT of room between the firewall & the box. This saves some space closer to where your center vent hoses are located.
