I remember seeing a thread where a guy took his wheels to a machine shop and had them clearance the wheels in a lathe. Not sure how much material would have to come out of the Cragars to clear the stock calipers, but I'm sure it would be cheaper than aftermarket calipers.
My husband does safety inspections for the province, he says that wouldn't be street legal here either, the wheels are sacrosanct.
Will do dustup7t2. I was told wilwood calipers allow enough clearance to allow the Cragar wheels to fit but I saw a pair on Superbuickguy's car and they looked awfully close to too big. He couldn't remember for sure but thought they extended just slightly beyond the mounting surface of the disc brake rotor. One of these days I'll have to pull a wheel off of my car and see if I can get an accurate measurment from wilwood as to how wide their caliper is.
