I can live with the 27" ride height, but the 26 5/8 worries me. If the frame J height is exactly the same on both sides, what do i need to do to raise the right front of the body up 3/8"?
That's what I love about the VBP front monoleaf that I have. It's as easy to change the ride height in the front as it is in the back. Just a quick turn of the spring bolts.

So where am i putting the shims? On just the front body mount, or a combination of mounts? Is it there a mount of some sort in front of the wheel that could be worn or a bumper mount that just needs adjusting? I'll have to crawl under there again and check all the mounts and see if one is rotted away 8 guess.

Under the spring - this is what they look like (they can also be rubber, poly, or aluminum)

Just out of curiosity, when you did your front end work, did you install a rubber isolator under both springs? When you put the spring in, did you make certain that the coil end was in its pocket?

I didn't put anything under the springs, there was nothing under them when I took them out. they are in the pockets correctly both sides.

my frame to ground clearance is equal to on both sides, 6 7/8" at the J height according to the manual. That's why I'm thinking it's the body that's too low on that side. that manual does say 1/4" off is acceptable, but I'm at 3/8" and would like to get it right.

where do you buy these? I can't find them anywhere for a Corvette. All that comes up in a search is Mustang ones.

You may have to do some fine tuning to get the perfect height (it easy to make it shorter, not so easy to make it taller)

Thanks. I think I'm going to try the 3/8" spacer, it says it will raise it up 5/8"

Well I got both sides level by adjusting the right side bumper support (remember the frame was already level so I figured it had something to do with the body). Here's some quick pics with 8" bolts in the rear spring ends. Going with 18" Coys. Should I go with 9" bolts in the spring ends?

it's funny, in the pictures the rear looks lower than in person. I'll leave it the way it is.

Time for new wheels and tires!!

Well I'll have to hold off on the wheels for now. Coys won't have any 4" backspace wheels in stock until July

I have 255/45ZR18's on 18x8" wheels with 4" rear spacing. Lowered the front end with 550lb springs and 8" bolts in the rear. All is good and has the stance and cornering I wanted for a fun cruising car. Centerline built the wheels for me and it did take 4-5 weeks.

I love those Centerlines, But I don't think they would work well on my Car.

I'm going to end up going with 17" Torq Thrust PVD Chrome, since I can't wait until July for the Coys.

I'm going to go with a smaller tire since I'm using 17's now, 255/45R17. I think the 26" tire will look good with a 17" wheel going by what's been posted on here so far.

The difference in the 17 and 18" tires is how I ended up going with the 18" wheel since my tires are within 1/2" of the factory height so no speedometer calibration needed for the tires. The Torq Thrust will look good.

Yeah, I'll have to order a new speedo gear as well, no big deal, It's probably only one or two tooth difference. I'll figure it out. maybe I'll get slightly better acceleration too.

I ended up ordering these 17x8" Rev classic 100 wheels since I really wanted grey centers.

I need to go to a 18 tooth speedo gear (currently have a 17 tooth) if I decide on the 26" tires.
