Help! Hurst shifter issues

So I tried this and it went the same. I said screw it and decided to rebuild the shifter. After taking it apart and seeing all that crap in there, there's no question the lube had all dried up and in it's place were rocks, preventing the reverse "peg" to move.
Now it works like a charm! Shifts are clean and easy, reverse still needs a nudge but not bad at all, and the neutral "gate" is clear as day.
