Default Cup holder for c3's

I have a pretty good cup holder idea that im thinking about doing, what im wondering is would you buy one for your c3, if it looked factory, fit up near the dash and cost around 60.00 bucks?

Be it that it is a limited market i don't know if the mold costs would be worth it?

I've tried two different ones that slip over the brake handle....Getting the car ready for the Hot Rod Power Tour ... Have not cared for either one... Rubs thighs...Not sure how they would hold a drink on a long run with possibly "sprited driving" ...

I'd consider it if:
it looked like it belonged there
it doesn't interfere with my shifting (4 speed)
Matches the style of the car

Cup holder? Why yes these cars need cup holders The big question I have is where would it go? A cup holder may look way out of place in these cars

I just got one for the console, have it mounted but haven't really driven the car with it loaded with a beverage in it.

Would be interesting to see another approach for mounting the beverage.

I don't think I would like it. Goes with tissue dispensers and compasses. They belong in C1's, not sharks!

Is it like the clear plastic molded ones that fit over the top of the console that the C2's use by any chance?

My cup/can holder usually sits in the passenger seat.

Just bought an inexpensive discreet cup holder I found on ebay. It looks like a small flush mounted speaker grill that folds flat when not in use. I attached it using 4 short screws to the carpeted front section of the passenger door panel so I can remove it easily and quickly without leaving any tell tale holes should I choose to at a later date. I'm no fan of cup holders in cars but my wife and her bottle of water are hard to separate on longer drives. It sells for $6.64 and ships free. If you absolutely need a cup holder in your C-3 this might be what some of you are looking for. Look under cup holders and search car truck boat van folding cup drink holder.
