Everything went dead while starting
I was using a battery zapper to start my 79 and it was this close to actually firing when everything went dead. No lights, no starter, not even an overhead light. Obviously I'm looking at something more than a simple fuse. Is there a fusable link somewhere that cuts all electrical? Thanks

The on line schematic shows 3 fusible links,
2 by the starter and 1 from the alternator line.

Just get a good battery, sometimes the zapper doesn't work if the battery s junk...also check your ground, had this happen to me once and the ground terminal end under the car was not making a good connection
