Vacuum System Question??
The heat in my 79 L82 has not been working since I have owned it so I decided to tackle the vacuum system, by redoing the hoses. The hot water shut off valve on the passenger side of the vehicle has one hose running from the top through the firewall and into the temperature control. However when the thick black hose goes into the grommet in the firewall there is a smaller white hose that is inside the end of the black hose and goes through to the switch. In removing the black hose from the grommet the white hose due to age had become brittle and broke. I had purchased a vacuum hose kit, but this thin white hose was not included. Has anyone experienced this and found a place to buy the hose, or any suggestions on alternatives. Thanks in advance as always.

You are describing the part as a white hose, you dont happen to mean white plastic? This kit contains a number of white plastic connectors.
