Default Help with A/C condenser mounting

My AIM has evaporated... no, really, it was here a couple weeks ago before I installed the engine/trans in the 77 but now it's just gone. Maybe the cat hid it since he hates it when I work in the back yard and he can see me but not join me.....

At any rate, I wish to install my new A/C condenser now that I beat the Champion radiator install into submission so I can install my hood and keep the open element air cleaner out of the weather. I've stared at the thing for several hours now and am flummoxed about what brackets might go where and screw to what. This car came to me completely disassembled and in piles... not even boxes.

Can any of you scan the page which shows the A/C condenser AIM page here so I can hunt for the correct brackets and hardware? Thanks folks!

On my 71 the condenser just bolts right up to the radiator support in front of the radiator. There are no brackets just the tabs on the condenser.

I just looked at a vendor catalog and 73 -82 do require a mounting bracket.

Condenser should mount to two metal brackets. Brackets mount to the radiator support using rubber isolators and sheet metal screws.

Be sure to use the rubber grommets as the vibration without them can cause the mounting tab to crack where it attaches to the condenser. I know from experience.

Look for your AIM while you're under there.
