Default First wash after storage .

Tough winter up here in NY , feels like it will hang on until June !! So after a new 700R4 w/2400 stall , making my ZZ4 a ZZ430 , new carpets and a bunch of other items I am now driving her some.

Last thing to do is clay bar and polish and install my rear window louvers , but that will wait for a tad warmer day then we have been having. We have yet to get to 60 degrees . I have to ask where did the global warming go ?

I also want to say the information this site has stocked away in past Member posts is nothing short of amazing , if it was not stored to be searched a lot of what I have done would have been a pain in the A $ $ ..

wow looks great! I love that color. Can't wait to see the louvers on there.

The weather lately definitely sucks. If you ask the liberals, global warming makes it cold longer too. Lol

Ya those libtards had me on that one , warming causes cooling . Well I took that for what it is worth and have yet to get ice cubes out of my oven , I am hopeful the ice forms before the water evaporates ,

Beautiful. That is one of the prettiest shades of blue I have seen. Fwiw, it's been colder than normal this winter in North West Florida this winter. No snow but wet and cold.

diehad, a thumbs up from rog is the ultimate compliment. I believe he knows more about his 73 than all of the GM engineers combined. As a side note, 60 years ago I was a one year old fat baby boy, but I do know what you mean.

So true on us seeing our own car's flaws. Every time someone stops and compliments my car, I have to bite my tongue.

Beautiful ride! Hope you see you around NY this summer (if it ever comes), and let me know if you ever are coming out to Buffalo.

I am fairly new to the area, I just transfered here in Oct '11, but I believe you are refering to Salvatore's, which is where the Corvette's of Buffalo club holds their monthly meetings. I plan on going to that one too. I know in the summer, they have a nice weekly one at Pautler's as well, which is kind of a drive-in/ice cream shop type place.

It's pretty cool out here in Buffalo as far as car shows go, there is one or more every day of the week durring the week in the summer, and bigger ones on weekends.

I will do some looking and see what I can find out about the Salvatore's show.

Ok cool we have it like that here in Rochester as well , but on a few occasions it would be nice to exercise my O/D tranny on the thruway

O/D.... must be nice, I am still rocking the original 3 speed, but it has been beefed up a bit atleast and slightly taller gears. I can manage 12-14 MPG at about 65 MPH, LMAO.

It looks like they have not set a date for the Salvatore's Super Cruise yet, but it looks to be early-mid July usually from what I can tell. As long as it is not the weekend of July 27th or later, or I am afraid that lil' woman won't let me go. Something about vows and a honeymoon...
