Default Steering column issue

My 72' has a tilt/telescoping steering column. There is about .5" of vertical slop on the column. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Thanks,
Dale

you can check if the lower steering column mounting bracket bolts are torqued all the way down.

Seems to be worn out at the hinge, guess I'll have to replace it.
