Need help on wheel selection

I just got my 72 painted and I'm stumped on wheel/tire combo
Do y'all think the Matt grey coys would look good on my car, thinking about 17x8/18x9.5, or just stick with stock rally wheels"
Don't mind the dust the pic is at my painter house still getting buffed out

I wanted 18s but it wasn't gonna happen with any other wheel company besides Coys, and I wasn't waiting either since my tires are 21 years old and bald.
I got 17x8" with -12mm offset all around. $676 shipped with lugnuts.
You have a chrome bumper car. Why not stick with chrome wheels. I would wait until the car has been completely reassembled and then take a side picture of your car and either play on your computer with images of rims, or print it out and swap cut out pictures of rims on the table.
Every time someone posts pics of their car with rims I like, I save off the picture. I look for the brand and model of the rim as well as the size and I paste that into the Information section of the picture...that way when I hover over the picture, I see the information about the rims.
I also went to TireRack.com and tried different size rims on a car close to mine. I found I like the 17" rim look the best, but still like the 15" slot rims also. I just want them to stick out like my current old pitted Cragers do now. I still may go with slotted rims, but I would have to add 2" front and 4" rear wheel adapters to make it look like I want it.
This is not something you want to have to repeat. Take your time and do it right.
