Default Engine block vin

I am having a hard time trying to find this engine vin on line. I bought it as a mid 70s Corvette engine. But I can't seem to find out any info on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Casting number 3970010. Vin # 141495472. K07 10 CMR. Thanks guys!

CMR suffix was used three times, only one was a vette.

1974 in the A body cars
1978 in the vette/ Z28 - L82
1980 in full size as a 305

That VIN just does not look like a Vette's VIN. Also believe that "K" should be a "V" for the flint plant where the vette engines were assembled.

The K in the engine code K0710CMR means that the engine was assembled at the McKinnon Industries engine plant in St. Catherines Ontario Canada on July 10.

No C3 Corvette engines were assembled there.

Casting 3970010 was not used for 305 cu.in engines.

The VIN derivative format doesn't look familiar, but with the 4 as the second character, I'm guessing it's from a '74 A-body car, possibly built in the St. Therese Quebec GM plant.
