Bubba working on electrical....again.
So I'm digging in the console checking grounds and wires and I find 2 plugs wrapped in tape. No problem, I figure everything works without them plugged in to whatever they go to, I will deal with identifying them later. An hour and a half or so later after making a few adjustments ( hit a bunch of crap and yelled a bunch of words I haven't used since being on board a submarine) I decided to test again. Same trouble with turn signal and power windows don't work.
At some point earlier when lying upside down under the dash, feet up through the roof something was poking me in the head. I crawl out ( I swear it takes me 15 minutes to get out of that position and I hit my head and elbows on everything) and find a cotter pin all bent stuck in my hair. I'm not the neatest guy and tend to have screws and crap layin the floor pan but I did not recognize this pin. Went to toss it and put it on the shelf instead. After tracing wires and power for the windows, I'm trying to locate the relay, I know where it should be but bubba must have felt it necessary to relocate some items, the little dim holy crap light bulb goes on over my head, the taped up plugs go to the darn relay but how did they work before. You guessed it, the cotter pin was used as a jumper and it fell out when I took the tape off and I didn't see it. Power windows work, relay on order. Oh, for those that are interested, The slow blinker on the passenger side was caused by a corroded tail light socket. I had realized that I had installed new tail light bulbs and if I unplugged the right rear, the turn signal was fine. I'm happy to say that I am now satisfied with the electrical. I manged to figure out how to wire around the wiper pulse delay module to get high, low and washer functioning. I also managed to wire around the coutesy light delay module to get function courtesy lights and the clock now works. I manually tested all vacuum for heater/AC and have fully functioning vents and vlower now. Time to finish installing the interior and get her on the road.
A couple pics for your time.

You can figure things out by looking at the AIM and schematics but if bozos before you were in there cutting, splicing and moving things, you have to grab a meter and trace wires to figure out what is going on. I'm not happy about having to splice as much as I did but I didn't want to buy a new harness and I do NOT want to have to revisit the electrical system later if at all possible. I'm sure just about everyone has the same issues.
I stopped with the electrical to give myself a break and moved on to installing weatherstripping.
I should finish that tonight. Interior work just blows.
