Starter Code Help
I have a 1108430 starter. Code on it is 4J17 2
I assume its a 1974 Oct 17?? The last digit is a "2 " but spaced away from the others. Does that mean anything? Is the starter a small block or big block starter? Thanks for any info you could pass along.

Should be a staggered bolt aluminum nose starter and will fit from 70 and up both big block and small block., standard and auto`s........it will fit thousands, cars, trucks and whatever
I'm pretty sure, that the "2" would be 2nd shift.
