need some carpet help
hi everyone, does anyone know what color carpet I have, I ordered 81 camel, and installed it in January, now I am trying to find floor mats, cus mine were shot, I did not have the original carpet to compare the new carpet kit I received, and it matches my door carpet pretty much perfect, so I did not think anything of it. now I cant find a mat to go with it?? what color did they send me??. thanks everyone, this has me stumped 
u can see by my kick panel, that is re dyed with 81 camel, it matches the carpet fine, but I guess it shouldn't have

The only parts of the original carpet left in my 81 are on the seat backs and the door panels (at least I think it's original.) I'm not at home right now but I'm thinking it comes closer to matching your mats than the carpet. I'll post some pics when I get back home.

guess my memory ain't what it used to be. or what I remember it being.
not that it'll help you much but here ya go. I have no idea what color the carpet is other than just brown. my old carpet was ragged out and my wife bartered some wedding flowers to a guy that owned an upholstery shop so it only cost her about $50. and that's all I have left. the seat backs were done too. more pics, up close, different angle, better light...if you want em.

thanks, thats what my door skins are too, the carpet in my is brand new, i ordered 81 camel, and last week ordered the mats and you can see the difference, so i am wondering is that camel everyone is selling just flat out wrong, under my armrests and in the map pockets it matches the carpet kit i got almost perfect. so why is it so hard to get the right mat color???, i am thinking its more of a 78-79 light doeskin but not sure. i was hoping someone would have a similar color carpet or mats to match so i can find the right floor mats to match it.
