Fuel pump replacement
Evening everyone, just got done replacing my fuel pump on my '69 L46 because I believe the check valve may have been shot. Was pretty straight forward, used a longer bolt to hold the push rod in place and was happy with that method. One thing I did learn is that even though the timing marks on the balancer showed it as #1 at TDC, it was 180 degrees out. Rotated the engine around and sure enough the pushrod had more room to allow the foot of the pump in. Definitely not an expert on the subject but if there's any questions on this swap while it's fresh in my mind, fire away!
