Default OK Wheel Experts.....

My car is exactly like this except it doesn't have the luggage rack. I called place selling this car and asked what tires is on this car. They're 245/40/18 all the way around. What size rim / backspace would I need? An 18x8 with a 4" backspace?

Coys will have wheels that size, but you'll have to wait for them. they told me all 4'' backspace wheels were on back order until July

Looks badass, huh? I thought 18's were too big but this pic is making me re-think that.

Those wheels look like Boss 338's and they only come in 4.5" backspace. Lots of people on here using those..nothing a 1/4" wheel spacer wont fix.

Would I need a 1/4" spacer or a 1/2" spacer?

What's cool is that they totally look like they belong there, I didn't think 18's would look that proportional.

My motto - measure twice, buy once. Take all things into consideration when measuring for back space. Also consider 17" as an option. That car in person may have a slightly different look to it with the 18" wheels all around. I run 18x9.5" in the rear on a 285/40/18 tire.

Check Rebelrob's posts. He runs the Coy wheel 18x8" on all 4 corners on his ride. He pulls it off very well on his car.

Good luck!

I run the same 2-size combo in 18" and have enjoyed the look, very much. Pics are in my profile garage and elsewhere in the CF.
