Pulled the Q-Jet today....
Party tonight

Rebuild the Quadrajet tomorrow....(barring hangover)...
Took the carb off & taped up the manifold for paint -
This should be interesting - my first attempt at the Quad...
I rebuilt an old 1968 VW Solex back in the 90's a couple times & that turned out alright...
Cross your fingers & wish me luck....

Looks like someone took the liberty of replacing your original quad with an M4M - good news! They're much easier to work with.
While you're in there, make sure you get the size of the main jets and main metering rods. If you need any help, let me know and I'll be glad to advise.

I would never refuse free advice on the Forum !!
- I may be in luck though- A friend of mine told me last night, he has a rebuilt QJ he doesn't need - I'm hoping to just bolt that up & get it going...
And it's the best price: FREE...
(I'm gonna keep the other one handy just in case... )
