Default A Little Help???

On page 423 of the AIM for my 1975, it says that I can adjust the cleavis to add up to .25 of play in the brake pedal. But how?

I put in a new power booster and the stem on the replacement must have been a little shorter than the original (I hate it when that happens)... I've got everything back together now, but the little white plastic nub that is supposed to be in contact when the breaks are not employed is not in contact, so my break lights are on all the time, instead of just when the pedal is pressed.

It's a pain to climb under there, but there has to be a way to adjust the pedal so the plastic extender is depressed when the breaks are not in use. And i just can't seem to figure it out on my own, so stupid question: How?I know there have been bunches of you guys who have had to figure this out previously and could help a guy out. So set me straight on the path to righteous break pedalling if you please.

try and adjust the 'plastic nub' your brake switch so it makes contact as its sposed to , usually has bout an inch of adjustment if the pedal height is ok with you, screwing it to the right and then securing the lock nut
