I have a lot off play in my r/h diff yoke ,which i think is clip missing or broken.
My question is it going to cause any immediate problem as i did not notice any thing when driving ,just noticed when doing other work under car.
I am hoping to do rear end in about 6 months in middle of doing engine at moment so prefer noy to have the lot in bits,as i would like to cruise this summer.
thanks Ian
You may have to think about what kind of trouble a missing or broken clip can get into, rolling around inside your diff.
How much play, exactly, do you have? The side yoke end play gets sloppy as the posi clutches wear. A missing clip allows the yoke to come WAY out during hard cornering.
