How hard is it to replace the hood release cable on a '74?

I did my 73 in about an hour. Be sure disconnect the battery as you are going right by the fuse panel.

Not hard, I replaced mine on my 74 as well, I would recommend the solid wire release cable over the braided strand one, stronger and will last longer. It's a real P.I.T.A. When it breaks.

Who sells solid cables? Are most that are sold braided? Funny, I never took notice.

Don't remember where I bought mine, was about 5 years ago. I was told to do this back then.
