Am I being too picky
I have had my car for 30 years and finally saved enough for a new interior. I bought all new leather seat covers, seat foam, carpet, and door panels about 2700.00. I put the seat bottoms on they came out very nice, riped one seat back (my fault)the replacement came with different spaced stiching and the leather is thicker with more grain, the company is sending a sample of stitching and leather to try to match but I thought all 1971 seat covers would have same stiching.So I started on the carpet, biiggest complaint is you can see light thru the carpet, no sound insulation under seat area, drivers side too short tto reach gromets behind pedels, extra insulation on pax side where its has to be cut to fit under sill. Door panels look great, but no hole for window crank, guess I am suposed to do that myself. I guess I thought things would fit better but being able to see thru the carpet
