Default Master brake cylinder question.

While replacing some rusted out brake lines, all of the brake fluid leaked out of the master cylinder. Used the two person method of bleeding the brakes, but pedal seems a little soft and travels down a little more than it did before. My question is: Does the master cylinder have to be removed from the car and be bench bled again? Or would taking it to a shop to have it power bled solve the problem?

You can bleed the master cylinder while it is on the car, but you will need a second person to help.

Having the system bled at a brake shop is not a bad idea. You pay for their expertise.

I have the bench bleeding kit tubing's. I'll round up a buddy Saturday and let you know how it goes.
