No regrets in replacing the 235-60R/15s and Centerlines with Corvette alloys and 225-70R/15s. The old wheels/tires have gone to a new home via Kijiji.

Sharp looking car there, Paul. In your case, the aluminum alloys and fresh tires set the car, very Corvette-ish way more than the old set.

Nice to read that the engine is tuned so well that it brings a smile. All the old GM project engineers for the C3s must smile with you on those days.
