This is the first 14 Vette I've seen on the road in the Detroit area without a manufacturers plate on it. Obviously not a C3 related post but you all are my normal conversation buds so wanted to post here. Sorry for the blur but I got this shot on the road (as a passenger) and was fumbling to get my phone up to take the shot before he exited.
I finally saw one in person at Bloomington. They had a grey that was OK, plus a blue roadster and a red coupe. I liked the red (and Im not a red fan) and I liked the coupe lines a lot in person. I even like the tail end- I know its caused a lot of disagreement but I liked it.
The interior was a huge, huge improvement and was very nice to sit in, back to a "cockpit" feel. I may buy one.
We may need to start a separate sticky thread for all the upcoming Big Foot Sighting of the new C-7.
Hey, thanks for sharing, I haven't seen one drivin around in PA yet.

Ditto. Not feeling the love here one bit. Sorry Bill Mitchell, we had nothing to do with naming this latest version a "Stingray". Your C2 will always invoke that iconic image.
On the way home today I saw a car hauler with 8 of them on it all wrapped in white plastic. Driver was getting ready to hit I-94 to some lucky location(s). It's starting to grow on me too. I'm starting to like the styling more and more as I see them on the road. haven't seen the interior yet Steve but you can bet, I'm going to hit either someone up or the first dealer where I see one. That could be a dangerous move. normally when I "look" at cars, I usually end up going for a test drive and then......................
Personally, I like it, and the more I see it, the more I like... What I don’t like is that they badged it a Stingray. "Sting Ray" and "Stingray", to me are classic iconic cars. For these brand new cars to be called that, kinda takes from the originals. That name was never an "upgrade" or "package" like a Z71 is to a truck. It was the car. Anyway..... just my 2 cents.
I like it but I don't find the back end to be as polarizing as many of us do. I'm sure GM is trying to increase the Corvette's audience. Lets face it the current crop of higher end sports cars have very edgy lines and the C7 is no different. I hope GM can sell as many as they can build.
wtf is with that black wheel trend my god that is bad.
Grey one doesnt look bad car in general isnt doing it for me at all.
Sure its a hell of a driving machine though.
maybe Im just old school i like sharper lines and body pieces that are in proportion to eachother not seeing it on new cars. They look cartoonish to me.
Thanks for sharing. I love the C7 and can't wait to spend some time behind the wheel of one. GM got it right and I'm glad it wasn't produced by another car company
