Caliper halves bolts
Any of the usual vendors carry the bolts and washers that hold the 2 halves together? All I see is the mounting bolts....
Thanks

I'm not sure off hand, but if you strike out, let me know. I have a few spares that you're welcome to.

No problem.
I think I have 4 bolts and washers, although, I'd replace the lock washers, which should be a hardware store item.
How many do you need?
If you don't want to do all the leg work, send me a PM by about 4:30 today with your address etc., and I'll send them out over the weekend.

I have taken apart a lot of calipers and have never seen or used a lock washer...fronts and rears are also different sizes.

You're right red...my mistake.
I must have been thinking of the caliper to bracket bolts.

I just worked on these ths past winter, and if memory serves, I'm pretty sure they are 1 1/4 inch 7/16 20's, fine thread, grade eight. Most cities will have a bolt company that supplies hardware stores and builders or maybe a good automotive place will have them. I found mine locally. Good luck.

By the way... anyone know the torque spec for these bolts? Not the caliper mounting bolts but the caliper halves bolts.

Call these guys. They include the bolts in their O-ring kit so they might be able to sell them to you separately.

13/16 and 5/8 are the bolt head sizes.

I think they were like 130 to 140 foot pounds. I had to go to a shop with a sturdy vise to hit that number.
