This is not specifically about C3s, but I thought you would enjoy the article.

Hmmmm. None of the nine reasons personally applies to me. But then, what does CNN know?

#4, 7 & 9 apply as far as I'm concerned. But knowing CNN, I bet the guy that wrote the article has never owned, driven or ridden in a Corvette.

Good read. The c7 part confuses me a bit though. Are they out for the public yet?

There is one that is missing that is the #1 reason I own a C3.

They are the best looking car out there.

I said 6,7, 8 and possibly 9 apply to me

lets see.... what were they...

perfect fit for 2 (+ the dog )
PIECE OF AMERICAN HISTORY ( for sure!!! )
It's a social experience (definitely, cruise ins, car clubs, car shows, corvette forum. )
It's a car you can pass down for generations... maybe... we will see.

For me Corvettes are time machines
I'll never forget the thrill of watching my father take delivery of his brand new 1953 Corvette. As a boy of seven going for my first ride in that car might just as well have been an invitation to go for a ride in a space ship! I didn't need 'Flash Gordon' - dad had a Corvette!
Every detail, every surface, the sound, the new car smell, that huge flat steering wheel - all of it - had etched in my mind what a Corvette was and still is to me.
Life's too short to not have at least one Corvette being a part of it (I've had nine ). I guess that's why we're part of this forum

Nice read. Thanks for sharing.

Did I miss something or did that article not interview anyone under 40?
