It's a social experience (definitely, cruise ins, car clubs, car shows, corvette forum.
)It's a car you can pass down for generations... maybe... we will see.
For me Corvettes are time machines
I'll never forget the thrill of watching my father take delivery of his brand new 1953 Corvette. As a boy of seven going for my first ride in that car might just as well have been an invitation to go for a ride in a space ship! I didn't need 'Flash Gordon' - dad had a Corvette!
Every detail, every surface, the sound, the new car smell, that huge flat steering wheel - all of it - had etched in my mind what a Corvette was and still is to me.
Life's too short to not have at least one Corvette being a part of it (I've had nine
). I guess that's why we're part of this forum
