Default Door adjustment wedge

I'm assembling my 69 convertible and after installing the new brass arrowhead piece on he door and the black wedge piece on the door jamb, the door fit is too snug.
These pieces aren't adjustable and to open the odor, I really have to jerk pull it.
Greasing the pieces did not help.

Should I take the plastic wedge piece to the belt sander?

Hinges don't sag.
Car is recently back from paint shop.
Door gaps look good. I don't think the answer is to move the door forward on the hinges, but I guess I could????

Do the hinges have fore and aft adjustment capability?
If so, is the adjustment on the door or on the A post?

If all your gaps are good I would sand the brass piece and a little off the plastic wedge. On the plastic wedge I would take it off and sand the flat portion.

Is new the brass piece leaving a mark on the plastic? Is that what's telling you where your interference is? Do you still have the old brass piece? If so try it before you grind anything away. If the door gaps are good I wouldn't touch the hinges. Also new weatherstripping and the striker post are part of this. I just put everything back together myself and it just took some time for everything to wear in

No weatherstripping, no brass wedge, door opens and closes fine.
Added brass and wedge and it got way too sticky.
I do have the old brass pieces. I might try it first.
