This is why I love my busted up c3!! Early morning drive up pacific coast highway I saw a 67 with that pretty rear reverse light in the center. Pulled into a lot a few moments later there was 4 corvettes just piled up saying hello. I love these cars an I love meeting new people b/c of them.

Happy 4th of July to you and everyone else. I love the c3 and the cool people that own them. Tell us about those rear tires and rim size. They look pretty big.

I had a similar experience last weekend. went to a sonic a little ways from the house just enjoying a drive and turns out I was there on cruise in night. Last Saturday of every month the Corvette club in a nearby town does this event. Ended up staying for hours.

I had a similar experience when my 79' was hit. Guy who owned a business down the street has a sweet 75', but we had only talked once in passing about 9 months before. One of his employees saw my car hit on the side of the street, went and told him, "you're Corvette buddy's car just got hit down the street". Keep in mind we didn't even know each others' names. He jumps in his car, drives right down to see if I am OK, and anything he can do to help. Long story short, he helped me out a ton, giving me the name of a shop who ended up hooking me up on the repairs. Mark, the guy down the street, even picked my car up for me from the repair shop while I was on deployment. Now whenever we know both of us are going to the same show, we save a spot for each other and occasionally go to cruises and concerts together. Great people own these cars!

Hey jesse,
NICE color.
I LOVE IT, Unusual on a Vette.
I "tested" a similar color (called Gemini Violet) years ago on my push bike,
My mother worked for a paint company (Spartan- here in Australia)
and the Tech guys would steal my bike and respray it every few months,
to see how well the paint stood up to the abuse of a deranged 12 y/o.
Cheers,
Gav

The tires are 295/75/15 on 10-1/2 x 15s rear and 8x15 front with 265/50/15 I believe the rims are old American racing wheels
