My 69 corvette
I started this car about 3 years ago.It belonged to close friend of mine I new for better than 40 years.Cancer is all I have to say.His last request was that I rebuild his car that he had bought at 19 and to drive it like ////.The car was stored for the last 26 years and the first 2 years I have replaced a great deal,seals, brakes,etc...long list.I plated the car with his name as a thank you to his family and no it is not a real L88,though all the main parts are GM L88 parts.Again a long story how we got those parts.Drove the car s little last summer and god it is sad looking,my kids kept telling me to take it up to speed and maybe the rest of the paint will flake off.At times I swear a blue cloud was following me.Started stripping last Aug and hope to have it into the painter by this Aug.
