69 Door Panel Fitting
Ok so I have the original door panels to my car, they had a gap across the bottom of the door when I got the car and I want to tighten them up.
I installed the two metal clips tonight but need to adjust the front one as it wasn't lined up the best...
Any tips on how to make the door panels fit as tight as possible to the doors? There is a space about 1/2 inch wide across the bottom edge where the door panel meets the door. My panels are in good overall shape, just did a quick restore on them, clean up, fixed cracks repairs, paint etc. I am still using the stock white Velcro type things and they really don't seem to do anything in fact cant really get them to snap into each other...anyone replace these with new ones? upgrade to some type of industrial Velcro or something?
I appreciate any and all help on this. Pictures would also be great.
