tri-power help needed info/value

I was wondering if anyone could offer me some help. My father passed away and I inherited some parts. One item is an origional tri-power. I am not planning on selling it but would love some info on it. I know he had it on several cars over the years. He always talked about how it was origional and only on a few years of corvettes. It is big block, oval port. Has the snow flake on the intake. Also casting number 3937795. On the bottom of the intake it has 0737 (I think, hard to read) and 10.21.68 below that which I am assuming is the date code. The carbs are Holley. The first two have the same stamp 3902353-ev, list 3659, 841. The back carb is different. 3940929-ev, list 4055-1, 892.

It has the linkage and a triangle air cleaner that needs the filter. All is in pretty good shape, did run, but could probably use a rebuild. I would like to have an idea of value, but like I said, not sure that I would sell it as he had it for many years.

At first glance, looks like from a 69 Vette. Value could be as high as $3,000.00 if all parts are there, air cleaner base and lid included.

the difference in value of a 435 set up and the 400 could be considerable however....much less for a 400

From your description that it is an oval port, it must be a 427/400 set-up. And that's what the casting number shows. It's the low-rise version for late 68 and 69 cars. The List 4055 carb is actually the center carb with the 3659s on the ends.

Why would the 400 set up be worth less than the 435 set up? There were less 400 set ups made.

same reasons 435 bring more money when it comes time to sell

I believe there were roughly 18 Tri power C3's produced in 67 in the Early roll out , these Manifolds were high rise, part numbers ending in #850.

Cant tell me these would be worth less money. ?
