Default Likely Suspects for Driver's Side Lean?

I know my rear body mounts are worn, to the point they will be replaced soon. But my 1975 coupe is 1 1/2 inches lower on the driver's side when measuring the spacing above the wheel to the top of the well. The springs look good and are reasonably new... Aside from rear body mount's I'm trying to figure what might be causing the back of the drivers side to be lower.??? The drivers side front looks lower as well but not as bad.

I just put new KYB rear shocks on, I don't think that could be the issue. Any other possibilities? Nothing jumps out on first inspection.

As always, many thanks for responding.

did you measure it prior to the work, if it was fine before the shock install, take them off and see if it fixes it, I would swap them side to side after that. then I would roll the car back and forth to see if it settles

I had the same issue, some replaced shocks and springs first because I. NOticed it had some spacers placed in it when I bought it. Only to find out that it was a combination of bad springs and a tweaked frame Huge disappointment to me.

While searching to buy a c3 I noticed this is actually pretty common. I must have seen this in 50% of vettes I looked at. Not sure if this is due to worn out parts or what but one "vette" guy told me its old suspension parts and the fact that the driver's side is ALWAYS subject to the driver's weight on that side. Passenger side doesn't always have a passenger sitting in. Seems kind of funny but I guess that would make some sense....

This was the case with my '70. Rear driver side was about 1.5" lower closer to the top of the tire. I am replacing all suspension parts now, soon will see if this helped.

My 72 roadster developed a fairly large space between the door and rear body. A little more on the drivers side and there was a slight "drivers lean". We fixed it by replacing the rear body mounts (#4) and adding shims until the spacing around the door was good. Pretty big job on a convertible but the results were well worth it.

Check the right front spring to make sure it is seated properly. Found mine was not down in the seat. It raised the right front 1/2 inch and lowered the left rear 1 inch.

I just replaced my front suspension, even used new control arms. Swapped springs from left to right, and still have about an inch down on drivers side front and rear. Must be either frame, body mounts or rear suspension in my case. I'm "leaning" towards body mounts.....

found something weird worn as I replaced the trailing arms couple weeks back, the right main sway bar link was worn slap out. The link hole for the bushing was wallowed out so large the new bushing would not even touch the sides and would fall straight through

rebuilding the tailing arms and other items in the rear suspensions was expensive, but well worth it, handles beautiful now.
