Default Seat track question

I have noticed that the seat track rear mounting brackets for 73-74 are different than that of a 68-72. The question is will 73-74 tracks bolt up to a 71 car without being modified?
I have 74 seats in my 71 and the tracks are missing the rear track brackets and I am looking to add them.
Thanks for any input.

The tracks are the same you can buy the early rear brackets from Dr Rebuild and weld to your 74 tracks.

Hi Mark
I bought 3 rear brackets on eBay last week that were listed as 68-72 but they turned out to be 73-74. I will need to buy one more. Do you think they will line up correctly without me re-drilling since the tracks are from a 74. Looks like they were originally riveted and spot welded.
Thanks,
Scott

I am finding out that my seat are not from a 74 but yet another year (yet unidentified) the brackets on the rear of the tracks are not missing like I thought but rather different they are shaped more like the front. I will take the seats out this weekend remove the tracks and see what I need to do to correct this miss-match maybe it just a matter of replacing the brackets or perhaps sell them and buy the correct tracks. That's what I have done with everything else that was not correct.

Looks like they are from a 76-78.
