Can't open the door
Hi,
I have a friend that can't open the driver side door. (It is a chrome bumper C3.)
He did change the door handle, so I assume that "something" is done wrong, when he assembled the door.
But how does he open the door now?

I guess you would take the door panel off and open it from inside. In the latch mechanism there is a lever that can be pushed toward the back of the car and will release the door.
When he pushes the outside release down, is there resistance? If not I would guess the rod is not secured and came loose.
