Side Axel Question....
I am trying to remove the side axles on my 81 rear end. the ends, that are inside the rear are all chewed up. I have been filing the heck out of the ends for a month now and still cannot get the axles out.
There are a few spots that I just cannot get to in order to file, like around the spider gear shaft pin. Anyone have any tricks that may help. This is a spare rear end I am trying to get ready because the one in my 81 is starting to hum/whine and I want to replace it. TIA.
