81 engine bay wires?
Hey guys just bought a 1981 corvette and ran into some wires that are just hanging in the engine bay compartment i tried looking to see where they go with no luck, one of the wires already melted because it hit the engine. the car does not have the ac installed and the engine fan was wired to a switch by the previous owner but i don't know if that has to do with these wires. any help would be appreciated and thank you in advance for any help, if more pictures are needed please let me know

yes it is kind of melted, thank you for your reply qwank! greatly appreciated there was one more wire i was curious about its the green one in the picture with the metal clip and the white/clear plug do you happen to know what those are for

Your car was made to run w/o the computer and smog crap. I have the GM Corvette shop manual '81 and I'll look up the wires f/ you tomorrow. I have a lot of loose wires in my engine compartment after installing an edelbrock carb and rpm airgap intake and long tube headers. I'll ID the wires in the morning.
