Hood Latch...
I took the hood latches off the under side of my hood. I wanted to paint the under side of the hood and powder coat the latches. How do I get them to align again.
I am worried that if I close the hood and everything is not in align then I will not be able to re-open the hood.TIA.

I wish I knew what the last 6 of the VIN's are (on both sites and youtube) to see if all the C8's having the problem came down the line at the same time??
Could it be a bad "lot" of parts?
