Need some help with a price on a barn find. I have a friend, who has a friend, with a 69 Stingray, Red, with a 350, approximately 5k miles on it.. been sitting covered for many years in a garage, and tires are flat.. Provided its never been wrecked, whats the value? Ive been told its numbers matching with no modifications.

Impossible to price, you have to provide way more information about the car starting with a bunch of pics of cars (engine, interior, paint condition, undercarriage,etc...) , coup. or convertible, stick or auto, manual or power options (brakes, windows, steering), factory A/C, radio, what HP engine 300 A/350 MANUAL, side pipes, vinyl or leather, etc. etc........
post some pics is a good start.
post above is correct, however if it REALLY only has 5000 miles (not 105,000) on it then it should be worth plenty. I will throw out a few ranges; smallblock $20-30K, big block $30-40K.
Most 'barn finds' are a mess, not at all in good useable condition. However, if it is a 'time capsule'/unmolested, low mileage original then you could have gold in that barn.
how much work do you want to do, time frame etc? yeah, plan on brake lines, fuel system, calipers and a ton of other stuff, also, depending on how it was stored could be frame rot, birdcage rot etc
the seat foam could be dry and crusty, along with the foam sewn into the seat upholstery if it is vinyl....
the corvette sitting in the barn isn't always a score for the everyday person, car may need a full on restoration, even with the 5000 miles, might be better off finding a nice driver quality car with more miles
