Electric windows ugh!!!!!!! HELP!

So here is a picture of my pass window motor and regulator. I took it out and replaced the motor gear but can't get the gear to line up. I need to be able to move the regulator gear to line it up but it doesn't budge. Any thoughts on how to do this? Other question is doe the motor actually ground to the door?

Pull up on the glass, the gear and arm should follow

The problem with that is the regulator is already extended up. I tried to push it down but it won't budge.

Try pushing down as you run the motor down. Otherwise you can unbolt the motor, push the window down some and reinstall it. BTW, your regulator gear looks pretty bad.

I will try that and prob have to replace it. Heck! I may just through it back together and wait until winter. No tops and no windows anyway! 😎
