Default Corvette on jackstands

I am working on my corvette and need to put it up on jackstand. My question, does it hurt the car to remain on jackstands for a length of time? I am working on the brakes but it may take weeks with my current schedule.

My 75 has been resting on jack stands for over 6 months with no issues.

Mine has been on the jack stands for about 1 year. It was down for
a short time when I checked out the new tires, but back up now.

Mine was on jack stands for nearly 2 years. I do however have solid frame (jack up at the front and the whole side jacks up) what I did try to do as much as possible is to put the wheels on and have them sit on race ramps or the wooden cradle you see in the pic. If all four wheels where off I did support the front underneath the crossmember with a thick wooden plate to not dent the crossmember and a jack. This takes care of a lot of weight dangling in front of those two jack stands. The only thing i unlatched where the glass T-tops.

Yes it can. I put mine up for four months with no issues.

That was mainly because I could see more that needed to be done..then I did it and saw more that needed to be done and so on.
